Truffles

Chocolate truffles have a nice hard chocolate coating on the outside and a plethora of different kinds of fillings and flavors on the inside.

These have always been a particular favorite to chocolate connoisseurs for a long time. This is due to the rich creamy ganache center accompanied by a vast assortment of flavors and looks meaning that the tasting experience is vast.

 Gourmet truffles come in all sorts of styles and flavors. The looks and styles are as abundant as the flavors that fill them. You have got squares, circles, spheres and as many decorations as your imagination can create. The outside look alone can be enough sometimes to stimulate your desires just as much as the knowledge of what awaits you in your first bite.

 The filling is a butter or cream based ganache. This filling gives the truffle a luxurious rich tasting experience with a smooth mouth feel.  This feeling is enhanced by other flavors that complement the filling. Flavors can consist of liqueurs such as champagne or rum, or fruits such as raspberries or oranges.
